Accessibility
Every page and every demo should work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion.
Draft pending attorney review — effective date to be set. This page describes how we actually operate today, but its wording has not yet been reviewed by our attorney and it is not yet in effect as a legal document.
Our goal
We build this site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That is our target for every page, demo and document we publish, and a bar we apply before a page ships, not after.
How the site is built
- Readable without scripts. Every page's content is in plain HTML on first load. Animation and interactivity only add to it.
- Keyboard. Every link, button and control can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline. A "Skip to content" link is the first thing on every page.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations are replaced by instant changes, including the scroll-driven story on our trust page.
- Contrast. Text colors are chosen to meet AA contrast on our dark background.
- Screen readers. Pages use real headings, landmarks, labeled form fields, table headers and text alternatives. Numbers that change while you work are announced through live regions. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology, and the facts they illustrate are always in the text.
- Zoom and small screens. Layouts reflow down to phone width and at 200% zoom without losing content.
- No time limits. Nothing on the site times out or requires a fast response.
Interactive demos
- Anywhere you can drag and drop a file, a standard "Choose a file" button does the same job.
- Charts and animated visuals are paired with the same information as text or tables.
- Results that update are announced to screen readers.
- Ask Mike, our AI guide, is labeled as AI, can be opened and closed from the keyboard (Escape closes it), and never requires voice.
Known limitations
- Some demos that analyze large files are designed for desktop screens. They work on a phone but are easier to use on a larger display.
- This site has not yet had an independent accessibility audit. Until it does, this statement reflects our own testing.
If you find a barrier that is not listed here, we want to know.
How we check
Before a page ships we test it with a keyboard alone, at phone and desktop widths, with reduced motion turned on, and against AA contrast. Pages with rules (for example, a demo that must find every planted issue) also carry automated tests so later changes cannot quietly break them.
