Using this site

These terms apply to your use of precisiontolerance.ai (the "site"), run by Precision Tolerance AI LLC ("PTAI", "we", "us"), a California limited liability company. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the public website only. Any consulting, data or website work we do for you is governed by a separate signed agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these terms.

Acceptable use

You may browse the site and use its demos for your own business evaluation. Please do not:

  • use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights;
  • try to get around its security, probe it for weaknesses without our permission, or interfere with how it works for others;
  • copy the site's content or code in bulk, or use automated tools to scrape or overload it;
  • upload or type material that is unlawful, harmful, or that you have no right to use.

Demo results are estimates, not advice

  • Our demos and calculators produce estimates from the data you give them and from stated assumptions. Results depend on the quality and completeness of that data.
  • They are tools for your evaluation, not financial, pricing, legal, tax, accounting or engineering advice. You are responsible for any decision you make, including any price you set.
  • Sample data shown in demos belongs to a fictional company and does not describe any real business.
  • We do not promise any particular result, saving, recovered margin, revenue or return from using the site or its demos.

Ask Mike

Ask Mike is an automated AI guide, not a person. It answers from content published on this site and can still be wrong or out of date. Nothing it says is an offer, a quote, a promise or advice, and it cannot bind PTAI. For anything that matters, confirm it with Mike directly.

Prices and offers

Prices on the site are published starting prices. Every engagement is quoted in writing before any work starts, and only a signed agreement creates an obligation for either of us. We may change published prices and offers at any time; a change does not affect an agreement already signed.

Intellectual property

The site, its text, design, graphics, demos, code and the names and logos of Precision Tolerance AI are owned by PTAI or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view, print and share pages for your own business evaluation with attribution. You may not otherwise copy, modify, sell or redistribute them without our written permission.

RobbJack is a trademark of RobbJack Corporation and is used with permission. Other names and trademarks belong to their owners, and their mention does not imply endorsement.

Your files

Files you use in an in-browser demo stay on your device; we never receive them, so we claim no rights in them. Anything you send us by email or form remains yours; you give us permission to use it to reply to you and to discuss the work you asked about. See our privacy policy.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

No warranties

The site and its demos are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the site will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components, although we work hard to keep it that way.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, PTAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site or its demos, even if we were told they were possible. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.

California law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Placer County, California, and you and we consent to that venue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
