Demo · Quote Desk Inbox · order desk and quote desk
Twelve requests before 9 AM. Sorted, never hidden.
The quote desk's morning at Meridian: a repeat special, a vague “something like the blue ones”, a supplier's price letter, a purchase order sent to the wrong inbox, a government buyer, two bots. Each request lands in a lane with its reasons. Nothing is deleted and nothing is answered automatically: people price, people send.

Lanes are suggestions with reasons, read in trust order: what the desk itself taught about a sender, then what this message says, then years of history. History alone never moves a message the reading called a quote, and the “probably not a quote” pile is never cleared by the system.

The desk sees exactly why the repeat comes out higher than last time before it reaches the customer, and sends it under its own name. A catalog request is priced the same way, from the customer's contract or matrix: see Q-01 above (contract K-1042, from the intake demo).
The rules the sort follows
Fast for the desk. Safe for the customer.
- Government and defense senders are human only. A .gov or .mil address, display name or form company means no AI reads the message or its prints. It sits in its own lane for a person.
- Bots are recorded, never deleted. A hidden trap field, random-letter names or a known bot address pattern files the request as ignored, with the reasons, and anyone can reopen it. Real names that happen to be consonant-heavy are tested so they never trip it.
- “Probably not a quote” stays in view. Orders go to the order desk and delivery questions to customer service, each with its reason. The pile is never counted as waiting work and never cleared by the system.
- Nothing is answered automatically. The desk prices, checks and sends every quote under its own name. Customer prints stay inside the company.
